Dennis Haskins, best known for portraying Principal Richard Belding on the beloved teen sitcom “Saved by the Bell”, has passed away at 75. His cause of death remains undisclosed. He gained prominence during the late 1980s and 1990s, reprising his iconic role across multiple spinoffs, including “The College Years” and “The New Class”.
Despite his recent health woes that have led to multiple hospitalizations, Lionel Richie is set to return to “American Idol”. Lionel, who was recently treated for atrial fibrillation, will be returning for Season 25. He has been a judge since its revival in 2018. He is still recovering following his treatments but has plans to return to the stage in Las Vegas on October 14. He was hospitalized 3 times over the past few months.
Dan Aykroyd has revealed that he and his “Ghostbusters” co-star Bill Murray once stole 2 police motorcycles for their impromptu Central Park joyride. He wrote on IG, “One night shooting GB2, we appropriated 2 fully equipped police motorcycles from the movie’s motor pool and spent an hour chasing each other around a closed Central Park with full lights and sirens.” Dan clarified that the joyride didn’t get the actors into trouble, “No consequences. After all, we were Ghostbusters.”
“Jersey Shore” star Pauly D is engaged! The DJ and TV personality and longtime girlfriend Nikki Hall announced their engagement on Instagram. Nikki wrote, “The easiest YES I’ve ever said”, alongside a set of pics of the pair in front of a crowd on an outdoor club stage in Las Vegas. In a comment, Pauly D wrote, “She said yesssssss!!!!!”

The Canadian Football League has announced Riley Green will headline the Bud Light Grey Cup Halftime Show, taking place at McMahon Stadium in Calgary, AB on Sunday, November 15. Riley is a former quarterback for the Jacksonville State University Gamecocks.
Rod Stewart has announced his retirement from touring, culminating in a final series of performances called “The Final Encore” set for 2027. The farewell tour will kick off on April 23, 2027, in Dublin, Ireland. Dates include Belfast, Glasgow, Birmingham, and Manchester, and conclude in London on May 11, 2027.
John Mayer is set to perform six shows at the Sphere in Las Vegas featuring three different musical configurations: solo, full band, and with the John Mayer Trio. The solo set will highlight his acoustic guitar skills, along with special performances on piano and electric guitar, while the trio reunion includes bassist Pino Palladino and drummer Steve Jordan, marking their first performance together since 2017. The shows will take place from April 8-18.

Amazon Prime Video has renewed “Reacher” for a sixth season while Season 5 is still filming. Season 4 drew 66 million viewers within 28 days, ranking among Prime Video’s top five most-viewed original seasons. The show has now reached 200 million viewers worldwide. Season 5 is based on Lee Child’s “Make Me”.
Neil Patrick Harris, Julianne Hough, and Austin Scott are heading to Broadway in a revival of “Damn Yankees”. The updated story is set in the early 2000s, following Baltimore Orioles fan Joe Boyd who makes a deal with a mysterious stranger. MLB Studios is a production partner. Previews begin March 24.
“Sabrina the Teenage Witch” is marking three decades since the sitcom’s debut with a 15-city live tour. Melissa Joan Hart, Caroline Rhea, Soleil Moon Frye, and others will kick off the tour on Halloween in Beverly, Massachusetts, near Salem. The shows will feature bloopers, skits, musical performances, and candid anecdotes.
