Miley Cyrus, now seemingly going by just Miley, has announced the follow-up to last year’s concept album “Something Beautiful”. Now that she’s just being Miley, her next album is called “Bass Persuades”, and it’s due September 18. The singer-songwriter will do a couple of rare live performances celebrating the album at the Hollywood Bowl this October.
Lori Loughlin is back on social media, seven years after the college admissions scandal. She enlisted her “Full House” co-stars John Stamos, Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron Bure, Scott Weinger, Andrea Barber, and Dave Coulier to help her relaunch her Instagram profile on Monday, in a “Wake Up, San Francisco” bit.
The Sphere in Las Vegas is adding what it calls “new and expanded 4D effects” to its reimagining of the 1939 classic “The Wizard of Oz”. The film combines the Sphere’s vast screen with effects in the venue, including fire and a tornado that forms inside the room. The enhanced effects will include new animatronic winged monkeys that will fly over the audience. The Sphere version of the film has grossed more than $450 million since it launched a year ago.
Stephen Kalyn is going from the hockey rink to the courtroom. The “Off Campus” breakout actor has been cast in “The Housemaid’s Secret”. He’ll play the role of Brock Cunningham, a lawyer who is in a relationship with Sydney Sweeney’s character, Millie Calloway. “The Housemaid’s Secret” will be based on the second book in the trilogy by Freida McFadden. The film is set to arrive in theaters December 17, 2027.

Netflix will premiere a three-part docuseries titled “The One About Matthew Perry” on October 27.
