Doja Cat is taking her new album around the world. Doja announced the “Tour Ma Vie World Tour”. The journey will take Doja to Latin America, Europe, the UK, and North America. The dates have been added to Doja’s upcoming list of shows in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.
Paula Cole’s iconic 1996 hit ‘I Don’t Want to Wait’ has resurfaced, thanks to a “Dawson’s Creek” reunion event. The song was used as the show’s theme song for years. Lester Holt is entering the podcast space. He will add a new show to the “Dateline” podcast family. “The Last Appeal” will follow the story of a Texas man who has been sentenced to death after shaking his 2-year-old daughter so badly that she died. The four episodes will air from October 6 through 9, leading up to the man’s scheduled execution on October 16.
One of the more fun aspects of recent Olympics has been Snoop Dogg’s unique commentary for NBC. The network is bringing back the Doggfather to cover the upcoming Winter Games in Milan, Italy. Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose has partnered with Sumerian Comics to release a new cyberpunk graphic novel series titled, “Axl Rose: Appetite for Destruction”. The story is set in a neon-lit Paradise City where a half-human, half-robot version of Axl uncovers a deadly conspiracy after a lounge singer mysteriously disappears.
Disney will release a sequel to “The Simpsons Movie” on July 23, 2027, marking the franchise’s return to theaters after a 20-year gap. The new film replaces an untitled Marvel project on Disney’s release schedule, creating a longer break between “Avengers: Doomsday” in December 2026 and “Avengers: Secret Wars” in December 2027.
Bill Murray will headline a new golf series titled “Off Course” for Paramount+ and the BBC. The six-part program follows the actor on a road trip across Ireland’s most scenic courses. Bette Midler has signed on to star in Warner Bros.’ upcoming comedy “Cut Off”, joining Jonah Hill and Kristen Wiig. Jonah co-wrote the script with Ezra Woods and will also direct the project. The film follows wealthy siblings who are suddenly cut off financially by their parents. Bette is set to portray the family matriarch.
Def Leppard is set to receive the 2,825th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on October 9. Jon Bon Jovi will be one of the guest speakers at the event. The star is located at 1750 N. The hit Apple TV+ series “Schmigadoon” is headed to Broadway. A stage adaptation will begin previews at New York’s Nederlander Theatre on April 4, 2026, with opening night set for April 20. Peacock has announced the premiere date for Season 19 of “Married At First Sight”, its first on the streaming platform. The long-running dating series, previously on Lifetime, will debut October 23 with a four-episode premiere. Season 19 takes place in Austin, Texas, where singles marry strangers, honeymoon, and live together for eight weeks before deciding their future.
Paramount+ has confirmed a third season of the spy action/drama series “Lioness”. The renewal comes almost a year after Season 2 premiered in October 2024. Reports had previously suggested the series would return, but the streamer had not made an official statement until now. The show features Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman, Michael Kelly, and others.
Nikki Glaser will debut her next stand-up special on Hulu in 2026 after a competitive bidding process. The one-hour event follows her role as the first female solo host of the Golden Globe Awards and her standout set during Netflix’s “The Roast of Tom Brady”. The special will be filmed later this month in her hometown of St. Louis over two nights.
