A “Wicked” live musical performance is set to arrive on NBC later this year, with stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo performing songs from the hit musical and film. The special event is set to take place ahead of the November 21 premiere of “Wicked: For Good”, the sequel to last year’s “Wicked”.
For the first time ever, YouTube will be broadcasting an NFL game internationally — for free. In the first Week 1 game of the season, the Los Angeles Chargers will play the KC Chiefs at the Arena Corinthians in São Paulo, Brazil, kicking off the 2025 International Games on September 5. The Bruce Springsteen biopic, ‘Deliver Me from Nowhere’, will hit theatres on October 24. Jeremy Allen White plays a young Bruce Springsteen recording his classic 1982 album “Nebraska”. He was hand-picked for the role by Bruce himself and got to hang out with Springsteen in his hometown of Freehold, New Jersey to prepare for the role.
Bruce Springsteen is about to release a long-lost country album that he recorded in 1995. Back then it was called “Somewhere North of Nashville”, but it never saw the light of day. Now he’s releasing it on a new project called, “Tracks 2: The Lost Albums”, that’ll be out on June 27.
DJ Snake released a new single reimagining Phil Collins’ 1989 hit “Another Day in Paradise,” featuring vocals from Bipolar Sunshine. Latonya Pottain, known from My 600-Lb. Life, passed away at 40 from congestive heart failure. She had been experiencing health challenges and backlash following her appearance on the show, leading to depression and fear of weight loss surgery. Latonya died after being hospitalized for difficulty breathing and suffering cardiac arrest in May.

The Michael B. Jordan and Ryan Coogler film “Sinners” recently crossed the $300 million global earnings mark. The film becomes only the fourth movie this year to pass $300 million in earnings. With numbers adjusted for inflation, “Sinners” is the third best-earning scary movie behind “Jaws” and “It”.
