SZA‘s “SOS” has just made history by surpassing Adele‘s “21” for the most weeks in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 among albums by women, as it secures its 85th total week within the top tier. I was released in 2022 but has climbed back into the charts due to the release of an expanded edition, “SOS Deluxe: Lana”, with the record climbing to No. 3 on this week’s chart.
Simone Biles won her fourth Sportswoman of the Year trophy at the Laureus World Sports Awards, tying Serena Williams for the record. She was honored at the awards in Madrid, eight months after winning three gold medals and one silver at the Paris Olympics. Simone previously won the Laureus award in 2017, 2019, and 2020.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025 will be revealed live this Sunday on ‘American Idol’. Nominees this year are, Bad Company, The Black Crowes, Mariah Carey, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Billy Idol, Joy Division/New Order, Oasis, Maná, Soundgarden, The White Stripes and Phish, who received the most ballots in the Rock Hall’s fan vote.
On Tuesday, Sony Pictures debuted the first trailer for the horror sequel “I Know What You Did Last Summer”. The film stars Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers, Jonah Hauer-King, and Chase Sui Wonders. Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. reprise their roles from the first feature and its 1998 follow-up. It hit theaters on July 18.
Despite criticism by some for a lackluster Sunday main event, WWE WrestleMania still brought in the eyeballs and money. From an earnings standpoint, this year’s WrestleMania turned out to be the most profitable event in WWE history. While a financial figure wasn’t given, the gate was 124,693 fans over two nights.

ABC and Hulu have confirmed the return of “The Golden Bachelor” for a second season, featuring 66-year-old Mel Owens, a former NFL player turned lawyer. He succeeds Gerry Turner, who led the inaugural season that averaged 10.4 million viewers.
Kevin Hart will host the 2025 BET Awards, commemorating the organization’s 25th anniversary. The live broadcast will air on BET from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on June 9. Kevin previously hosted the BET Awards in 2011 and has been associated with various BET projects over the years.
“Tiger King” personality Joe Exotic, serving prison time for a murder-for-hire plot against his nemesis Carole Baskin, says he married a fellow inmate in Texas. Referred to as Jorge Flores Maldonado, Exotic, also known as Joseph Maldonado-Passage, announced the union on social media from the Federal Medical Center in Fort Worth.
CBS has granted series orders to Tim Meadows’ “DMV” comedy and Matthew Gray Gubler’s “Einstein” drama. In “DMV”, Tim portrays an ex-English teacher turned examiner eager to expedite driving tests, co-starring with Harriett Dyer as Colette. “Einstein” tracks Albert Einstein’s great-grandson assisting a dedicated New Jersey State Police detective.
“Enola Holmes 3” has begun production in the U.K. with Millie Bobby Brown, Louis Partridge, Henry Cavill, Helena Boham-Carter, Himesh Patel, and Sharon Duncan-Brewster returning. The new installment follows Enola Holmes to Malta for a new, complex case. The previous films have been hugely successful for Netflix.
Netflix’s hit “Heartstopper” series will conclude with a feature film based on Alice Oseman’s upcoming volume six. Kit Connor and Joe Locke will both reprise their roles as Nick and Charlie. The movie will explore the challenges of a long-distance relationship.
Fox has greenlit “The Snake”, a reality competition series hosted by Jim Jefferies. The show follows 15 contestants navigating challenges to become the weekly “snake” who decides eliminations. Contestants can manipulate, befriend, or form connections to win $100,000. The series premieres this summer.
The Disney+ pilot “Holes”, based on Louis Sachar’s book, features a cast including Greg Kinnear, Aidy Bryant, and Shay Rudolph. The story follows teenager Hayley at a detention camp led by the Warden to dig holes for a mysterious reason.
