ZZ Top has added nearly 2 dozen more dates to their 2026 tour schedule. News of the additional dates followed the announcement earlier this week of the first round of shows in their “Dos Amigos” tour with Dwight Yoakam. The new performances are all European dates in June and July.

He posted vid of a faux Spotify rep delivering 3 awards to Morgan, each celebrating a song that surpassed 1 billion streams. After the tickets went on sale for his 2026 dates throughout Mexico, Brazil, Europe, and the UK, the tour has now sold over 7.5 million tickets.
Our first official look at the next “Hunger Games” movie is finally here. “Sunrise on the Reaping”, based on the 2025 book of the same name, is set 24 years before the first film and follows a young Haymitch Abernathy who is selected to compete in the 50th Hunger Games. The movie is in theaters & IMAX November 20, 2026.
The Academy Awards wants us to be prepared with extra snacks before the 2026 ceremony. The Oscars will broadcast all 24 award presentations, including a new award for achievement in casting. The addition of the casting prize marks the first time the academy has added a category since Best Animated Feature Film was established in 2001. Conan O’Brien has been confirmed to return as the host for the 98th Oscars ceremony, which will be broadcast live on ABC on March 15.
HBO has renewed the “Game of Thrones” prequels “House of the Dragon” and “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms”, and the latter doesn’t even premiere until January. They’ve also renewed the comedies “The Chair Company” and “I Love L.A.”.
Eight previously unaired episodes from the “Friends” spinoff “Joey” are now available on the Friends YouTube channel, nearly 20 years after the show’s 2006 cancellation. The NBC sitcom starring Matt LeBlanc ended during its second season with these final episodes never broadcast in North America. The complete 46-episode series now streams on YouTube.
CNN will premiere the documentary “I’m Chevy Chase and You’re Not” on January 1. It follows his path from “Saturday Night Live” to a series of classic comedies. The trailer features interviews with Dan Aykroyd, Goldie Hawn, and Martin Short. Director Marina Zenovich said she aimed to uncover “the real person behind the guarded, conflicted man we’ve often seen on camera.”
Apple TV+ has announced an eight-episode unscripted cooking series titled “The Unlikely Cook with Awkwafina”. The streaming service has not yet revealed a premiere date. “I’ve never been trusted around a kitchen, so I thank everyone involved for opening that part of my house up to me,” Awkwafina said. Her family operates a successful Cantonese restaurant in New York City.
